Position overview

Are you interested in learning more about Business Management in the world leading industrial coating resins company?


Join us in a role of Junior Product Line Manager and you will have a great chance to deep-dive into the business management aspects – during practical learning process you will act as a Junior Product Line Manager for our two business areas in EMEA region supporting and working closely together with our existing Product Line Managers.
You will have an opportunity to work together with our Business, Manufacturing, Planning, Technology and Procurement departments to implement the regional product and asset strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the product groups with marginal income and gross profit responsibility, balancing volumes, capacity utilization and pricing;
  • Facilitate growth of these product lines by working closely with involved departments;
  • Follow and update product price and material cost changes, support price update process;
  • In collaboration with Supply Chain manage inventory and SMOG’s levels;
  • Coordinate sales allocation based on guidance of the business;
  • Facilitate data exchange between Customer Service, Sales and Planning departments;
  • Maintain product service offerings and assist in sample management process;
  • Support product portfolio optimization;
  • Execute detailed cost estimation of new products and implement codification of those in the system (SAP).
Required skills and experience
  • Master degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain area
  • Ideally up 5 years’ experience in a business, procurement or supply chain related position (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Proactive personality, takes initiative and shares new ideas
  • Strong team player spirit with very good communication skills with all levels in the organization, fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Strong analytical skills. See the big picture, know when to dive deeper in the details
  • Good IT skills (advanced MS Excel skills, SAP experience beneficial)
